Central Green – a beautiful outdoor public space in Aurora near Denver – will be putting on a host of shows for the community this Halloween season. This neighborhood gathering place features an outdoor amphitheater, a variety of lounge seating, and a spacious lawn to relax and play. Check out what’s in store below:
During September Central Green offered a variety of family-friendly screenings. The nostalgic American comedy/adventure flick The Goonies brought smiles and warmed the hearts of both adults and kids alike. The classic Kevin Bacon dance musical Footloose took viewers back to 1984. The 2021 Aretha Franklin biopic Respect paid respect to “The Queen of Soul.”
For those interested in a bit of mystery and magic, Sara Jessica Parker and Bette-Middler’s 1993 fantasy comedy horror film Hocus Pocus will be playing October 13th for spooks and laughs before Halloween.
There’s no better way to enjoy an autumn evening than with good food. Central Green brings out local food trucks every week, including:
- Pink Tank, a family affair featuring homestyle chicken and waffles and other delicious favorites.
- Big Stuff Food Truck features patty-melts and other “Colorado Comfort Food.”.
- Over Rice Thai Food is another family-run truck dishing up tasty traditional Thai street food.
- Moontime Crepes is a conscious blend of sweet and savory – all organic and locally sourced.
Mountain city – a folksy acoustic singer-songwriter husband & wife duo – played the amphitheater last month. Check them out here.
October’s live acts will be announced by Central Green soon.
